Loading Access is as easy as clicking the Start Button>:

Click the Start Button located on the lower left-hand corner of your screen.

Click Programs

Click Microsoft Access

After a few seconds, the first Access window will appear on your screen.

Click "C:\Program Files\..\Samples\Northwind"

Click

After a few seconds, Access displays the following screen:

Click

Access is ready to go.

So, let's try it now. Once your have started Access, don't forget the switch back to this software so you can continue this lesson. To do this:

Click the Lesson icon on the taskbar which is at the bottom of your screen.
